Summer is flying by and so I’ll take a little time to catch you up on all the happenings. First off, not a lot of book writing or editing has been going on the last few months. My last novel is still sitting there in a sort of editing stasis mode. What has been happening is lots of fiber opportunities. And so, since those seem to be happening now, it’s what I went with for the summer.
First off, my spinning guild, Prairie Handspinners out of Billings, MT decided to host their first fiber fest. I volunteered to be on the planning team and we had a very fun and quite successful first fiber fest in August. Secondly, I’ve been working another day a week at the yarn shop and also busy teaching classes. In fact, next week I’ll be there four days between teaching and working. Thirdly, I’m designing knitting patterns more and more now. Two are published now, and a few more are in the works. You can find them on ravelry and etsy.
Do you see why there’s not much time to edit books?
There are a few more ideas coming to fruition soon. I have another opportunity to teach in India (there’s always opportunities but not always the right timing). More on that in a future post. Writing will happen again soon. In the meantime, check out one of my knitting patterns and let me know what you think!
