Gathered Hay Scarf – Knitting pattern
This is a lightly ruched knit scarf designed to showcase mini skein packs and gradient yarns. Alternating rows of linen stitch and ruched stockinette stitch form a pattern reminiscent of cut and raked hay.
Yarn: 430 Yards of Sport Weight yarn. Sample used Wonderland Yarns Mad Hatter 5 skein pack in Salmon to Yellow colorway.
Needles & Notions: US #7 (4.5mm) needles in circular 24″ or straights, 6 stitch markers (optional for keeping track of stitch count) and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
